Homemade Moisturizing Hair Mask




From time to time, your hair needs a little extra love! Today I am going to share with you the recipe of a moisturizing hair mask that condition, add softness and keep your hair shiny and beautiful!

To get started you will need

-       2 tbsp of coconut oil
-       1 tbsp of honey
-       1 tbsp of plain greek yogurt
-       1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
-       10 drops of lavender essential oil

Coconut oil is rich in antioxidants, and has antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial properties. When used on hair, it improves scalp health, fights infections and fungus, supports hair growth; in addition it adds volume and shine to your hair. (also check 10ways to use virgin coconut oil)

Honey is a natural antioxidant, which makes your scalp healthy and stimulates hair growth. Moreover, honey has high sugar content, which helps to retain moisture.

Greek Yogurt, as far as your hair is concerned is its protein content. Protein is essential nutrient to the growth of your hair.

When using Olive Oil on your hair, the oil coats each strand making it stronger and shinier. Olive oil also aids in decreasing dandruff.

Lavender Essential Oil is excellent for preventing itching and dandruff.

Directions

1.    Combine all the ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl and mix until creamy and smooth
2.    Lather onto your hair and evenly distribute from scalp to ends
3.    Put your hair into a shower cap and wait for 20 to 25 minutes
4.    Remove the cap, rinse with warm water and then shampoo then rinse again very well.
5.    Pat dry with a towel and let it air dry

Hello Friends! Today I wanted to share with you 3 M.A.C products that I admire pretty much..




The first product is Harmony. Harmony is a muted rose-beige brown (matte) powder blush. I love using this product to contour. I usually apply it with a 109 small contour brush by mac.




The second product is Soft and Gentle. I can’t say enough good things about this product. It is one of the bests. It gives your face the perfect glow! I use this product with wattsup from benefits cosmetics. Together they make the perfect highlighting combo. To apply the highlight I use 138 tapered face brush by mac.




The third and last product is Peaches. Peaches is a pure peach sheertone powder blush. It gives you a natural lovely blush! I apply it with a 135 large flat powder blush by mac.

Orange Couscous Salad




Ingredients


-       ¾ cup of orange juice
-       ¾ cup of vegetable stock
-       1 tsp of cinnamon ground
-       ½ tsp of ground coriander
-       1 cup of couscous
-       ¼ cup of raisins
-       2 chopped tomatoes
-       1 tbsp of lemon juice
-       1 crushed garlic clove
-       ¼ cup of chopped parsley
-       ¼ cup of chopped fresh mint
-       2 tbsp of olive oil
-       salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1.    Combine the stock, the orange juice, the cinnamon, the ground and the coriander in a large saucepan and bring to boil.
2.     Add some salt then put the couscous. Let the grain swell for 5 minutes then add some olive oil and stir with a fork.
3.    Remove from the heat, cover and leave to soak for 10 minutes.
4.    Put the raisins, tomatoes, lemon, garlic, parsley, fresh mint and olive oil I a large bowl and toss well.
5.    Add the soaked couscous and season with salt and pepper.
6.    Your couscous salad is ready to be served!
